Forest Green Marble (Verde gutamala)

Verde Guatemala Marble / Forest Green Marble is a premium natural stone quarried in the state of Rajasthan, India, admired for its deep green base enriched with dramatic brown and dark green veins flowing randomly across the surface. The natural pattern resembles a dense tropical forest, which is why it is popularly known as Rain Forest Green Marble. Its rich texture and exceptional polishing ability give it a luxurious shine, making it a highly desirable material for both interior and exterior architectural designs.

This marble is an excellent choice for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, worktops, staircases, steps, risers, wall cladding, and decorative installations. Its combination of striking beauty and reliable durability allows it to perform well in residential as well as commercial environments.

Each block of Forest Green Marble is unique in color and veining, meaning no two slabs are ever exactly the same. After extraction, slabs are often book-matched—a process where two adjoining slabs are cut and polished to create mirror-image patterns, enhancing the visual flow. Polyester resin is applied to naturally occurring pores before final polishing to ensure a smooth, glossy, and long-lasting finish.
